Orange Braised Short Rib

1 Tsp black peppercorns in metal tea strainer

32 Oz. Osteobroth prepared (4 C warm water and 8 Tbsp ostebroth)

2 oranges, juiced and sliced

2 large sweet potatoes, peeled, and cut into 2 in. chunks

4 carrots, peeled and cut in half

3 cloves garlic, smashed

1 tsp cumin

In large slow cooker, pour in water and stir in osteobroth powder. Once mixed, add oranges, cumin, and garlic.


Place beef or pork short ribs, sweet potatoes, and carrots in slow cooker. Place peppercorn ball. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until meat is tender enough to fall apart with fork.
