Day 1 - 12 Days of Christmas Cleanse

This morning I awoke with a sense of excitement in this new challenge!  For the next 12 days I will be conscientious of the food and drink for which I fuel my body.  By eliminating toxins like: processed sugars, grains, dairy, legumes, tree nuts, meat, and shellfish; and ingesting healthy helpings of fruits, vegetables, and bone broth, my digestive system and blood sugar levels will get the much needed restoration.  
I decided that setting goals would be key to succeeding during this cleanse. So, I took a before picture & body measurements, wrote down my goals, and most importantly made a grocery list.
My body measurements in inches: 
chest-  31
waist-   27.5
hips-    35.5
thigh-   16.5
bicep-  10
My goal is to lose a combined 1.5 inches by December 23rd.  I will achieve this by drinking lots of water and nutritious broth.  Ok, that's lofty but I'm shooting for the moon especially if I'm choosing to forego egg nog, snickerdoodles, and candy canes.  Instead, this Christmas I'm giving myself the gift of good health.
